A cloud is use by Yahweh to represent or manifest His presence, as is recorded in the book of Exoduslogos2a.jpg

Exodus 13:20-22, (KJV)

And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness. And Yahweh went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.

Exodus 14:19-20, (KJV)

And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them: And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

Yahweh is Pure Spirit, and in this state He is incomprehensible and inscrutable.  He is the substance, limits and bounds of everything.  We have Yahweh in His Pure Spirit state symbolized as a cloud.

Yahweh in not a cloud!  He merely chose a cloud to to symbolize Himself because a cloud has no particular or descriptive shape or form.

(To the right side of this page) On the Migration Pattern chart we have drawn a fiery cloud all around the edges of this chart to demonstrate that everything on the chart is contained within the cloud.  This is to show that in like manner, everything in the universe abides within the Pure Spirit state of Yahweh.

Therefore as Saul the apostle declared to the philosophers in a meeting of the Areopagus in Athens, Greece:

Acts 17:26-28, (NIV)

From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.  God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.  ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.   As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’
