John 16:7-12Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is
expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send
him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
- of sin - because they believe not on me;
- of righteousness - because I go to my Father,
and ye see me no more;
- of judgment - because the prince of this world is judged.
I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he
will. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: that all men should honour the Son,
even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
“I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment
is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me.
The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the
word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day.
But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning
who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him.
2 Thessalonians 1:7-10 (KJV)
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed
from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not Yahweh, and that obey not the gospel
of our Savior Yahshua the Messiah:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of Yahweh,
and from the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his sons, and to be admired in all them that believe
(because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
