2. What is the process for proving what is true,
according to the bible?
main concerns are:
- Proving what
is true and acceptable in the eyes of Yahweh
- Proving that Yahshua is His son whom he sent into the world
- Proving that Yahweh is really the Creator and Sovereign Ruler of Heaven and Earth
The verses listed below
are key verses in our proving process, but they must be applied according to the tabernacle pattern which serves as our
guiding principle. The tabernacle pattern with priesthood services as described by Moses, provides us knowledge that
is literal, figurative and symbolic; and this gives us ingredients for a unique system for thought and reasoning. To one
who has been instructed, it becomes like a technician's toolbox packed with an assortment of precision tools. Sometimes
Dr Kinley, when he was teaching, would tell us that the tabernacle was like a slide-rule that engineers used.
1 Thessalonians 5:21-22, (KJV)
Prove all things; hold
fast that which is good.
Abstain from all appearance of evil.
How can ye believe, which
receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only? Do not think that I will accuse you
to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. For had ye believed Moses, ye would have
believed me; for he wrote of me.
Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to
believe all that the prophets have spoken: ought not Christ to have suffered these things,
and to enter into his glory? And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded
unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two
witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.
2 Timothy 3:16-17, (KJV)
All scripture is given by inspiration
of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the
man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Isaiah 8:20, (KJV)
To the law and to the testimony: if they
speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
Romans 1:19-20 (KJV)
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things
of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power
and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Acts 28:23, (NKJV)
when they had appointed him a day, many came to him (Saul) at his lodging, to whom he explained and solemnly testified of
the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets, from morning till evening.
After A Soul Conversion:
Now we have received,
not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of
God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth;
comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for
they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Acts 17:31, 1984 (NIV1984)
For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man
he has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead.”
1 Corinthians 15:1-4, (NKJV)
Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you,
which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached
to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first
of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried,
and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,
Isaiah 28:9-11, (KJV)
Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the
milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon
line; here a little, and there a little: For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
2 Timothy 2:15 (AKJV)
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
