Life After Death

It's June 6th.  Everybody seems unsettled because we don't really know what Yahweh will do now.  Moses has been very urgent on the elders to watch their people so none get hurt or killed by touching the mountain.  Even if their animals wander onto the mountain, they could be killed.  It's really a tense situation.   We over heard someone say,
‘Take heed to yourselves that you do not go up to the mountain or touch its base. Whoever touches the mountain shall surely be put to death."
This has really been an awesome trip seeing HOW Yahweh is demonstrating His absolute power and authority over all natural elements and things. Even with this experience it is hard to grasp the reality of such power.  The ground we're stand on is trembling,. . .there is a noise. . .The Mountain! It's like. . .
Look! Moses has led the people out of the camp. . . they are standing at the lower part of the mountain--waiting. The whole top of Mount Sinai is hidden in a cloud of smoke.  It must be. . .Yahweh descended. . .it's on fire. It's like a volcano; billows of smoke ascending like the smoke of a furnace -- the whole mountain is quaking greatly.  And that sound... it's like the sound of trumpets. . .ear splitting -- piercing. Moses is part way up the mountain.
My knees are shaking so badly, I can hardly stand... Oh, look! The people..., they 're grasping their heads and falling back from the mount. (You know?  I heard that Moses said, He feared and trembled when this happened.)

But wait!  Listen!   Moses spoke and Elohim is answering--by a voice. And Moses--he's walking right up into that fiery cloud!  Can you believe that! ?  Like a voice from heaven, it was.

Exodus 19:16-19 (NIV)
On the morning of the third day there was thunder and lightning, with a thick cloud over the mountain, and a very loud trumpet blast. Everyone in the camp trembled. Then Moses led the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. Mount Sinai was covered with smoke, because the Lord descended on it in fire. The smoke billowed up from it like smoke from a furnace, and the whole mountain trembled violently.  As the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke and the voice of God answered him.

Exodus 19:16-19 (NIV)
And mount Sinai is altogether on a smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.  And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.  And the Lord came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the Lord called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.

This is the first trip Moses made up into the mountain of Sinai, and stayed there for awhile.  And these were the last words we heard him speak to the people by Moses, before he disappeared into the fiery clouds on the mount.
"You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven: Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold."
(This what the Lord told to Moses say.)
 Exodus 20:22-23 (NIV)
